Double Ended Pen Section Added to the Site!

Hi Pen Fans!

It's always wonderful to get custom reqests from clients.  I love how customer submitted design ideas always cause me to consider a brand new approach on how to make pens.  At times, I make a custom pen for a client that I love so much that I decide to make the pen an official part of our line.  This happened a while ago with the Collier, and now it will happen with our Double Ended Pens.

If you are interested in learning more about the genesis of these Double Ended Pens, please check out our blog posts Here and Here.

So the Double-Ended pens will now have a permanent place on our Signature Line Page.

And you can go here to see the page that is now dedicated to Double Ended Pens.

Thanks!

Edison Nouveau Premiere Special Spring Edition!

 Hi Pen Fans!

The Edison Nouveau Premiere Special Spring Edition is here!  Cherry Blossom Acrylic!

The Goulets do a great job of announcing this pen, so I won't repeat a lot of their information.  Please go to the Goulet's Blog Post Here to see all details, along with a nice video presentation.

Here in Ohio, we just recently had a break in the weather, and it feels like it might actually stick!  So the timing for this "springy" pen couldn't be too much better!

Remember that these seasonal special editions will only exist during their respective season, so once summer comes around, these won't be available anymore.

Go here for all details.

Behind the Scenes: Making a Menlo Pump Filler

We always receive a lot of good feedback whenever we show "Behind the Scenes" at Edison, so we decided to show you how we make a Menlo Pump Filler.

Enjoy!

Gold Snake Clips!

We are happy to announce that our Sterling Silver Snake Clips are now available in a gold plated version!
(if you can't see the video below, please go here).

In the past, people have been very happy with our Solid Sterling version of this clip, as you see below....

But I think a lot of people would appreciate a gold version to compliment warmer colors, as you can see here...

There's more details within the video above, but either the gold or silver version will add $90 to the cost of a pen.

A Great Vacation! Back to Work!

Hi Pen Fans!

Our Disney Vacation was great!  I'll include a few photos below....

Our son had a blast!

I managed to get this shot out of pure luck!  During the fireworks show, Tinkerbell exits the castle on a wire and she is very well lit up.  I managed to capture her trip out of the castle, as well as a firework that shoots by her!

Epcot

And look who we ran into!  The Goulet Pen Company as well as the Edison Pen Company happened to be vacationing the same week!  We had a nice breakfast together!  It really IS a small world!  :)

So we'll be back to work this week.  If you are expecting an email from me, I should be able to get through all emails tomorrow, Monday.

Thanks!

A Vacation!

Hi Pen Fans!

My family will be taking a nice vacation the week of March 3rd.

We are taking our son to Disney!  We can't wait!

And the way that Ohio has treated us this winter, it will be awfully nice to be in Florida for a week!

Usually with vacations, I still try to keep up with a few emails, but on this trip, I'm going to do something that I rarely ever do, and not look at emails at all.  I really need a vacation from my computer!

So I will not be fielding emails until we get back on the 10th.

Hopefully when we get back, spring will have arrived early in Ohio!

Have a great week!

Edison Beaumont Nominated for Pen World Magazine Reader's Choice Award!

Hi Pen Fans!

I'm very happy to announce that the Edison Beaumont Pneumatic has been nominated for one of Pen World Magazine's Annual Reader's Choice Awards!  That's two Reader's Choice nominations for Edison in the last three years!

The Beaumont Pneumatic was nominated within the category of "Best Vintage-Inspired Pen".

I encourage you to cast your ballot for your favorite pens within the Reader's Choice Awards, as they always recognize the best of what's happening within the pen community.  The ballots are within the pages of the February Edition of Pen World Magazine, which was recently mailed to subscribers.

If you do not subscribe, you can find the magazine on newsstands.

Great News For Our Canadian Fans!

Hi Pen Fans!

It is with great pleasure that I announce our newest retailer in Canada!  Wonder Pens is now carrying the Edison Production Line!  Our Canadian customers seeking to avoid international shipping and hassle now have a great option!

If you subscribe to our blog, you would have received a request about a month ago asking for feedback from our Canadian customers as to which Canadain retailer each of you like to see carrying the Edison Line.  Overwhelmingly (by a huge margin), Wonder Pens was the highest recommended.

And there's little surprise from me.  Although I've never met Jon and Liz Chan live, we've done business previously, and I've been following their blog for a while now.  They definitely embody the qualities that we look for in our retailers.  We are always quite choosy about who carries our line, and our current Canadian representation is no exception!

Head on over to their webstore to take a look at their Edison (as well as other) offerings and be sure to check out their blog.  Or if you are in the Toronto area, they have an excellent brick and mortar location.

Thanks!

Brian at Edison
