So from now on, please do not use the neo.rr.com address. Only use brian@edisonpen.com.
The neo.rr.com address will work for about three more months. I will not completely abandon this address quite yet. But around summertime, I'm going to discontinue this address, so please get rid of the neo.rr.com address and start using the edisonpen.com address.

Hi Pen Fans.
Three things to cover within this blog post....
1. Current Inventory has been updated since the LA Pen Show. There are around 50 new pens there, including about 12 bulb fillers. Click here for the gallery.
2. There is a group buy in progress at the Fountain Pen Network. The pen will be a clipped Pearl. If you have ever wanted to get a Pearl at a lower price, go here for details.
3. The material for the Production Line Collier in Antique Marble is going through a very small change. The manufacturer slightly changed the color. See the photo below.
The new version is on the left. The old version is on the right.
I think that you can see that the difference is very very slight. There is a little bit less orange. This difference is so slight, that I hesitated to even announce it, but I felt it was best do do so.
There are no more of the original versions left, so from now on, all of the retailers will be carrying this slightly less orange color.

Hi Pen Fans.
There are two topics with this quick post.
First, we have a lot of new pens that we brought to the LA Pen Show but did not sell. So keep an eye out...later this week, we'll have the Current Inventory Gallery updated with a lot of new pens ready to ship, including about 10 new bulb fillers.
Second, I quickly wanted to mention a new fountain pen website that I'm really excited about. It's not everyday that I go out of my way to promote and endorse a pen blog, but this is no ordinary blog.
FPGeeks.com is run by two great fellows named Eric Schneider and Dan Smith. I had known Eric from previous pen shows, but I got a chance to meet both Eric and Dan as a duo at the LA Pen Show, had a great dinner, and got to know each of them a lot better.
I'm really impressed with FPGeeks.com. It's not every pen blog that has the following features....
1. Weekly Podcast
2. Weekly "Geek of the Week" Interview (every week, you will get to hear a major player in the pen industry interviewed in a very candid and fun manner...personally, I've learned a lot more about some people in the industry.)
3. A forum which has already become one of the larger ones in a very short time.
4. Excellent live coverage of the Pen Shows, as well as one of the most comprehensive pen show schedules that I've seen.
5. Awesome Reviews to help you decide which products will be the best decision for you.
6. Two very ambitious fellows who really know how to run a website as well as conduct invterviews and podcasts.
So I recommend that you add them to your Blog Reader, iTunes Podcast, or simply bookmark them. I have been interviewed as a "Geek of the Week". I also participated in this weeks Podcast, and I truly had a lot of fun with both.
Like I said, rarely would I go out of my way to heavily endorse and promote a pen blog, but this is a blog that I personally visit often, and find very valuable. They've only been around for about 6 months, but already they have lots of good content, which will only get better and become an even larger library of fountain pen goodness!
We are proud to announce that AndersonPens.net is now carrying the Production Line! So the Collier and Hudson can now be purchased through the Andersons in addition to all of our other retailers. The Collier can be seen here, and the Hudson here.
Make sure to check out their website linked above, or you can see their blog here.
Many of you have probably figured out that we at Edison choose our retailers carefully. We like to sell our Production Line through "mom-and pop" retailers that embody the same values that we do towards customer service, and the Andersons are certainly no exception.
We've known Brian and Lisa for a long time now from the pen show circuit. Click here to learn more about them.
The Andersons have been well known for their vintage pens, especially Esterbrooks, so if you are an Estie fan, make sure to give them a visit. And if you want to hear a real amazing tale, ask them how the Esterbook line of pens actually led to their marriage! Very cool story!
But of course, they do carry plenty of very nice modern pens, yours truly now included! So be sure to visit their website and/or blog.
So the Edison Production Line is now carried by Goldspot Luxury Gifts, The Goulet Pen Company, ISellPens.com, Richard Binder, and we are proud to now add Anderson Pens to this list. Click Here for links to each of their websites and purchasing information.
Side note - I realize that I mentioned that a new pen model would be coming this week! Bear with me! I should have this announcement ready tomorrow or Thursday!

Hi Pen Fans!
My apologies, as I had plans to get a nice video blog put up prior to the Holidays, but literally, things have been that busy here!
I thought that I could make today a little more relaxing, and render a nice video for this blog, but I literally just finished up everything for the week, and I'm exhausted! So a non-video blog wil have to do!
So Happy Holidays to everyone on behalf of The Edison Pen Co! The December special has been a big hit, and at the beginning of January, I'll have a sizeable check to send off to Susan G. Komen! Thanks!
I'm going to spend next week doing mostly catch-up work with accounting, taxes, etc, so that I can end the year with all my books in order. I will try to stay away emails, so if I'm slow in responding, you'll know why.
And what to expect from Edison in 2012? Well actually, you can expect to see somewhere around 3-4 new pen models coming in the first couple months, with one happening pretty much as soon as we return in January....so stay tuned! A lot will happen early in 2012!

Hi Pen Fans!
I've started the Edison Pen Co's Google+ page. Check it out. Once there's enough people with me in circles, I'd love to do some hangouts! Nib tuning, pen design, pen maintenance, or whatever topics you might want.....
I've done some evening broadcasts on Ustream, but audience participation is with text chat only. Googe+ Hangouts are very interactive, allowing multiple users to chat with live video.

Hi Pen Fans!
Just a quick note to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving.
We have a lot to be thankful for here at The Edison Pen Co! Mostly, we are thankful for our devoted customers!
I'm going to try to stay away from emails this weekend, so please allow me until Monday to get caught up.
Edison updates -
1) Expect to see a couple new pen models coming to the Signature Line and Production Line hopefully before the end of the year, perhaps early 2012.
2) I'm thinking of a Holiday Special, so keep your ear to the ground early December.
3) The Mina Urushi Project is underway! Expect to see photo updates very soon.
