Hi Pen Fans.

My wife and I will be packing up our car and heading to Chicago on Thursday morning.

I won't be set up on Thursday, but I'll certainly walk around.

Then I'll have everything set up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

I will have probably my largest inventory that I've had at a pen show. Well over 50 pens. I will have around 6-7 bulb fillers, and today I'll be cranking out plenty of Morgans.

My current inventory can be seen below....

Philly Was a Great Show, Article, and LA Coming...

Hi Pen Fans!

The Philadelphia Pen Show was fantastic once again. I'm pretty exhausted, so I'm taking a little time today and tomorrow to myself!

It was nice to see friends from the area, and also to shake hands with some new friends.

Big thanks to Bert Oser and his crew from Bertram's Inkwell for hosting another fantastic show.

The Phidelphia Inquirer wrote up a nice little article, with a certain someone photographed doing some nib work!

Hi Pen Fans!

I'll be heading to the NYC Pen Show next weekend.

I hope to meet more of my clients live.

I do have some pretty special pens that I've put into inventory.

DC was a Great Show, but came with a Hitch....

Hi Pen Fans!

The DC show was quite successful, certainly one of the best shows that I've ever been to.

I had an outstanding time, but a hitch came along with it.

My wife had some abdominal pain throughout the entire show, which culminated in us leaving earlier than what we wanted to on Sunday.

After a long drive home and an ER visit late last night, we found that she needs to have her gall bladder taken out.

She will have a consult with a surgeon tomorrow morning, most likely going into surgery the same day.

Since the Edison Pen Co. is a one-man-show, I need to ask my clients to please be flexible with timelines and communication as a result.

I'm sure that my responsibilities as a husband and father will need to spill into my penmaking responsibilities in the next week or two. We have family that can help with our four-year-old, but I'm sure that I'm still going to be taken out of the shop some and will be slowed down.

So I will be working in my studio as much as I can this and next week, but I have no idea at what rate.

Please bear with me through this event, as my productivity with pens and communication might be a little slower.

So far, it seems like this should be a routine procedure, but prayers are still appreciated.

DC Bound!

Hi Pen Fans!

I will be attending the DC Pen Show this coming weekend.

I will have my entire inventory, along with examples of materials. I will bring my nib adjusting tools as well.

Also - I will have two pens that will be going to a charity auction right after the pen show when I return home.

The auction will be hosted on a website and will benefit Cherished Creations.

These two pens are very special, and both are like no other pen that I've done in the past. They both turned out very nice, and I'm super-proud of them!

If you miss the show, stay tuned to the website, as the pens will make an appearance here after the show!

Chicago, Piston Filler, and (whew....vacation....)

Hi Pen Fans.

Next week, I will be attending the Chicago Pen Show.

I'll have my full inventory there, along with at least a prototype, if not a complete version for the new piston fIller.

Speaking of, the piston filler is scheduled to be in full production after May 11th.

And lastly, I'm taking a much needed vacation the week of May 4th.

More updates to come. If I'm not great with emails this coming week, you'll know why.

What a show in LA!

In spite of the redeye home, the show in LA was phenomenal!

Aaron at Pentiques took a lot of videos, and trust me, they are worth watching.

Outside of what you see here I had some fanastic evenings. Bruno CorsinI showed me a new technique on how to approach my internal threading.

I also spent about three hours having drinks and talking pens with Paul Rossi. He critiqued my work, and gave some VERY valuable information. Super-nice guy.

LA Bound!

Hi Pen Fans.

I'll be heading to the LA Pen Show this week.

I will be set up sometime after lunch on Thursday, and I'll be displaying until the end of the day on Sunday. Then Monday will be a much needed vacation day!

This is one of the biggest pen shows in the US. I heard that there will be 170 tables!

I'll have my entire inventory there...the Tuxedo Series, the #76 (bulb, CC, and eyedropper), the Pearl, the Herald, and Glenmont.

I'm looking forward to meeting more of my clients live!

Heading to Columbus, and Engravings...

Hi Pen Fans.

I'm very excited to be attending the Columbus Pen Show this weekend.

I will have the new Tuxedo Series, the newly designed Glenmont, along with all of my other pen models there.

I hope to meet more of my clients live.

Also, there is a new development at Edison.

Every pen will now be engraved with my maker's mark.

All of the engravings are very subtle, and do not detract your eye from the overall pen.

If anyone who currently owns an Edison Pen would like have their pen engraved, I'll be happy to help out.

Simply send the pen my way, along with $7 to cover my return shipping, and I'll be happy to take care of it.

Toronto....and on the way, The Pearl...

Hey Pen Fans!

I will be attending the Toronto pen show this weekend.

I hope to see some of you there, specifically some members of the London Pen Club. I have traded emails with some members, and I look forward to meeting some folks live.

I will give a preview of a new model pen that will be emerging very soon. This pen will be called "The Pearl".

Within a week, I'll make an official announcement, but for now, take a peek at what will come.

This pen will have options for TWO ink windows. One below the section, and one within a blind cap that has been bored out to reveal the ink.

Back From NY...

Well, the New York/New Jersey show was quite successful for me.

I got a chance to finally meet some of my clients live, shake some hands, and network with a lot of the pen community.

My next show will be Columbus in November, so I hope to meet more folks there.

In the meantime, myself, my wife, and my three-year old are taking a much needed vacation.

I'll be back in the shop on Monday.

Headed to New York...

Hey Pen Fans!

I'm heading to the New York City Pen Show this coming weekend.

Aaron from Pentiques is not too far from me, and he's kind enough to allow me to head east with him.

I'll have all of the new Heralds with me, including the new batch of red and black ebonite Heralds, which will be finished up Monday or Tuesday (for those of you waiting on one of these pens, they will ship on Tuesday. Thanks for your patience!)

I'll also have a new batch of the Heralds done in some fantastic acrylics.

I hope to finally meet some of my clients live!
