Hi Pen Fans!

In addition, this presentation will also be permanently hosted on my Useful Videos Page.

The notes for the show can be found here.

If you would like to purchase the nib tuning kit that we used in this presentation, you can find this at Richard Binder’s site here.

Please enjoy the presentation below.  I hope that you can use this information to breath some new life into some of your pens!  If anyone has any questions regarding, please reach out!

Big thanks to the FPGeeks!

Brian, et al–this is SO great. I couldn’t join the hangout yesterday, but I’m working through the video and notes now, and I am really grateful for this info. As many pens as I have, it has made me crazy that I have been afraid to fix simple alignment or flow problems. Kudos!

  • MadAmos

I would love to see you cover the more advanced material on flow adjustments and advanced nib alignment.

  • Thanks for the comments Shari! Glad this was beneficial.

MadAmos – we have plans for exactly the topics that you mentioned. Stay tuned!

Really enjoyed the tuning show. Very informative.
I keep thinking some kind of prop like a giant nib would be beneficial. I can visualize what you are describing in just one plane but as the tutorials become more complex it might be difficult for some (and me) to follow.
Thanks for taking the time to put this together. You all did well.

  • Good suggestion! I’ll definitely consider using props.
