I’m super-proud to announce that the 2015 Limited Edition Collier was named Goldspot Luxury Gifts Pen of the Year for 2015!

For those counting, that’s five years in a row that Edison has won this award! Counting the Pen World Magazine nomination and win, here’s how the last five years have looked for Edison…

Hi Pen Fans!

I’m very proud to announce that the Beaumont Pneumatic has won a 2014 Pen World Magazine Annual Readers’ Choice Award!  The category won was Best Vintage Inspired Pen.

Actually, we tied with the Omas Arte Italiana, but both pens were given the award.  If you also look at the recipients of the other awards, you’ll see that we are in awfully good company!  

So at the risk of bragging, can I give a rundown of Edison Pens that have been recognized with awards in the last 4 years?

We’re very proud to have been honored with the awards above, and we promise to continue innovating!

Hi Pen Fans!

I’m very happy to announce that the Edison Beaumont Pneumatic has been nominated for one of Pen World Magazine’s Annual Reader’s Choice Awards!  That’s two Reader’s Choice nominations for Edison in the last three years!

The Beaumont Pneumatic was nominated within the category of "Best Vintage-Inspired Pen".

I encourage you to cast your ballot for your favorite pens within the Reader’s Choice Awards, as they always recognize the best of what’s happening within the pen community.  The ballots are within the pages of the February Edition of Pen World Magazine, which was recently mailed to subscribers.

Hi Pen Fans!

I’m very proud to announce that The Edison Menlo Pump Filler won the Goldspot Pen of the Year, 2013!

And not by a small margin, either!  The Menlo won by 57%!  You can see details and Goldspot’s announcement here.  Thanks to everyone who voted!

So in the last three years, the Huron was nominated for a Pen World Reader’s Choice Award, the Collier won Goldspot’s Pen of the Year 2011, the Beaumont won Goldspot’s Pen of the Year 2012, and now the Menlo Pump Filler Won Goldspot’s Pen of the Year 2013! 

That’s three years running for Edison in the Goldspot polls!

Again, thanks to everyone for voting.  Next week when we take a break, we’ll have one more item to be thankful for!

I was real happy to see that the Beaumont Pneumatic Filler was featured in Design World Magazine!

Here’s the article.

The author does a real good job of describing the function, design, and advantages of using pneumatics in a fountain pen.

As a side note, keep your ears to the ground, as we will be launching another new and pretty interesting filling system in mid July!

Hi Pen Fans!

I’m proud to announce that the Edison Beaumont has been named Goldspot Luxury Gifts Pen of the Year, 2012!

Some of you may be confused by this, as Goldspot announced this honor to another pen earlier this week.

Well, it turns out that Goldspot uncovered irrefutable evidence showing that the vote was hacked in the last 2-3 hours.  The Beaumont was ahead by a minimum of 6% the entire voting period, and then in the last couple hours, another pen suddenly surged ahead to win by 4%.

Well, it turns out that the vote was hacked.  If you’d like to read Goldspot’s statement, it is here.

I had no idea that the pen community could be so scandalous! 

Regardless, we’d like to thank everyone who voted (legitimately!)
