Hi Pen Fans!

I just wanted to take a minute to wish our fans Happy Holidays, and also thank you for your support!

I’m going to try to get as much wrapped up today as possible so that I’ll have free time next week to spend with family.

I will be checking email during the Holidays, but I might not be as fast as normal.

My time in the shop might be sporadic, so getting me on the phone might be tough.  Email will be better during this time.

With my time over the Holidays I will be working on this new filling system.  I hope to have this pen ready to go in late January or early February, so stay tuned!

Hi Pen Fans!

It’s that time of year for us to give thanks!  Here at Edison we have a lot to be thankful for!  Our business has been growing and growing since the beginning.  We recently added some new retailers and will announce them soon.  We have a new filling system that I’m hoping to unveil early 2015 (stay tuned!).  In the last four years we’ve been recognized with four consecutive wins in the Goldspot Polls, and have been recognized by Pen World Magazine in their Readers’ Choice Awards twice (nomination and win), along with plenty of good press in general.

We added another employee just recently, so now there’s four of us creating your pens.  Even with this fourth addition, we are still super busy, so we really need to bring on a fifth employee real soon!

When I sit down with family today for my favorite meal of the year, a big portion of my thanks definitely goes to our fans, who we wouldn’t exist without.

My wife and I just celebrated our 11th anniversary last weekend.  Our 9 year old is doing great in school and is growing up too fast!  Everyone is healthy and happy!

So again, thanks for supporting our business, and everyone have a great Thanksgiving!  Please take a moment this week to recall all of the blessings in your life!

Hi Pen Fans!

Well, our vacation was wonderful, and well needed!  We have our batteries recharged, and we’re hitting the ground running today!

If you are expecting an email from me, I will say that I’m currently under a small mountain of emails!  I’m hoping to have all emails done today, but just in case, please allow until tomorrow if you are expecting an email from me.

Please remember that the 2014 Limited Edition Group Buy is just about ready to be announced.  Most likely, that project will be announced this week!

And the DC Pen Show is right around the corner!  We hope to see you there!

Hi Pen Fans!

We will be taking a much needed vacation for two weeks starting the 14th until the 25th.

We don’t take a lot of vacations (and hardly ever two weeks), so it’s definitely time to recharge!

I will finish up emails today and then I’ll be doing my best to stay away from the computer until the week of the 28th.  So if I’m slow with emails, you’ll know why.

Don’t forget that the 2014 Limited Edition Group Buy will be announced upon our return, so stay tuned!

Our Disney Vacation was great!  I’ll include a few photos below….

I managed to get this shot out of pure luck!  During the fireworks show, Tinkerbell exits the castle on a wire and she is very well lit up.  I managed to capture her trip out of the castle, as well as a firework that shoots by her!

And look who we ran into!  The Goulet Pen Company as well as the Edison Pen Company happened to be vacationing the same week!  We had a nice breakfast together!  It really IS a small world!  🙂

Hi Pen Fans!

My family will be taking a nice vacation the week of March 3rd.

We are taking our son to Disney!  We can’t wait!

And the way that Ohio has treated us this winter, it will be awfully nice to be in Florida for a week!

Usually with vacations, I still try to keep up with a few emails, but on this trip, I’m going to do something that I rarely ever do, and not look at emails at all.  I really need a vacation from my computer!

So I will not be fielding emails until we get back on the 10th.

Hopefully when we get back, spring will have arrived early in Ohio!

Hi Pen Fans!

Well, we took a much needed break over the Holidays, and we’re back to work today.  We’re awfully blessed to have jobs that we really look forward to getting back to after a break!

So if you are expecting an email from me, you’ll get it today.

On our plate for 2014 will include a new pen model with another pretty novel filling system.  We will be doing a Production Line Limited Edition at one point, a new material will be going to a Production Line pen, and remember that we’ll always do a Signature Line Limited Edition in the late winter/early spring.  If some of you are wondering about a timeline for these new items, I really can’t narrow this down, except for the Signature Line LE, which always happens roundabout March.  So stay tuned!  We will always be striving to bring out great new products!

I wanted to say thanks to all of you for a great 2013, and we look forward to an excellent 2014!

Just a quick note to make everyone aware that we will be wrapping things up today, and will be away from the shop until the New Year.

If you are expecting an email from me, you should hear from me today.  But after that, I’ll be trying to stay away from emails to spend time with family.  However, I will take a look at emails from time to time, so if anyone has an urgent issue, I’ll probably see it.

Hi Pen Fans!

It’s that time of year for us to give thanks!  Here at Edison we have a lot to be thankful for!  Our business has been growing since the whole crazy thing started!  When I lost my pharmaceutical job about 6-7 years ago, I would have never thought that I’d be running a successful fountain pen business today!

My wife and I just celebrated our 10th anniversary last weekend.  My wife’s parents celebrated their 40th anniversary in June, and my parents just celebrated their 50th anniversary a couple of weeks ago!  On top of that, everyone is healthy and happy! 

Our 8 year old is doing great in school, is awfully well-mannered, and is truly a blessing in our lives!

So again, thanks for supporting our business, and everyone have a great Thanksgiving!  Please take a moment this week to recall all that you have to be thankful for.
