Hi Pen Fans!

We are getting packed up for the Philly Pen Show today!

Usually, right before pen shows, I manage to get a quick video up showing all of the inventory that we’ll be bringing.  Unfortunately, our spare time has been completely dominated with making sure that the Edison Nouveau LE Premiere (go to that link for an update) is finished up and on the way to the Goulets, so I’m afraid that getting a video together will be impossible today, sorry!

So we’ll be set up on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Philly Pen Show.  If you’ve never attended the show, I really recommend it!

If I’m slow with emails, you’ll know why.

Hi Pen Fans!

As usual, the Ohio Pen Show was a smashing success!!!  Big thanks to Terry Mawhorter and his crew or putting on another great show!

Highlights….
Laurence Oldfield was able to visit from the UK.  Very nice guy, and he had a couple of incredible Fords.
I saw a pair of solid gold Parker T-1’s.  Amazing!
Michael Sull was in attendance making us all jealous of his phenomenal script!
There’s lots more!  All of these highlights, as well as more are within the slideshow below.

We are pretty exhausted, and will not be in the shop today and possibly tomorrow, as well.  If you are expecting an email from me, I’ll return it tomorrow or Wednesday.

HI Pen Fans!

The Ohio Pen Show is this weekend!  For those of you who will be attending, you are in for a treat!

We’ll be set up Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.  We hope to see you there!

Hi Pen Fans!

The Michigan Pen Show was another success!

While this show is not as large as DC or LA, Lih-Tah and the other Michigan Pen Collectors really put on a good show.  A good representation of vintage and modern.  If you are in the area next year, I do recommend attending!

There was a nice group of Canadian collectors that made the trip across the river as well, so it was nice to see our Northern friends!

And I have to share one of the neatest vintage displays that I’ve ever seen!

This is a vintage diplay for a Shaeffer Vacuum-Fil.  The display has a working pen within, and there’s a motor behind the display that keeps the mechanism filling and emptying, filling and empyting!  Very very neat!

I’ve had a couple people ask about our Current Inventory after the Michigan Pen Show.  We will get that gallery updated tomorrow!  I’ll announce it here on the blog, so keep your eye on this page tomorrow!

Hi Pen Fans!

One of our favorite "quaint" pen shows is this weekend!

We will be at the Michigan Pen Show!  We’ll be set up by 3 on Friday, and then we’ll be there all day Saturday.

Now we won’t have time to update the Current Inventory Galleries today, so there will be some pens that are not in those galleries that will be at the show.  We’ll be bringing around 250 pens, including about 40 pneumatics and about 30 pump fillers.

If you are near Michigan, I do recommend attending.  It’s not as large as DC or LA, but there are some great vendors there.  Lih-Tah and the rest of the MIchigan collectors always put on a quality show.  There is usually a nice Canadian crowd that crosses the river to participate, as well.

If you are wondering about the pens that are not in the Current Inventory Galleries yet, we’ll take whatever doesn’t sell in Michigan, photograph them, and update the gallery next week.  I’ll announce on the blog when the galleries are updated.

Hi Pen Fans!

Well, the DC Pen Show was unbelievable! 

The crowd at DC had not seen our Pneumatic Fillers or Pump Fillers yet, and they were a huge hit!

Speaking with other dealers and participants, we weren’t the only people to have a great show!  Everyone confirmed our feelings that this was without a doubt one of the best DC Supershows ever!

Usually when we attend these shows, I have some time to run around taking some nice photos and put a slideshow up on the website as well as the social medias.  But literally, I have no photos at all to share!  I was only able to leave the table 5-6 times the entire weekend, and those times that I did leave the table, it was for a specific reason, and not for fun photos!

So my apologies!  I realize that a lot of you enjoy my photo coverage of the pen shows, but there just wasn’t any time at all!

We are definitely exhausted, but for those of you who are expecting an email from me, I will return that email today or tomorrow morning.

And there is one photo worth sharing, but it is not one that I took!  This is a photo of my wife and at our display.  Thanks to Thomas H. for sharing!

Hi Pen Fans!

Chicago was another great pen show!  We brought our 7 year old to his first full three days at a pen show, and he did great!  He managed to acquire more pens than I did!  We decided to stay a few extra days to show our son the city, so we just got home late last night….pretty exhausted!

I’ll try my best to get through my emails today, but please allow me until Thursday or Friday if you are expecting an email from me as there are a ton to get through.  Until then, below is a slide show of the Pen Show, and a few pics from our time in the city!

First off, I need to apologize as I will not be able to do a current inventory video like I normally do for the Pen Shows.

With the Stealth Pen, the LE Morgan, the Tweaks for Geeks Seminar, some new developments that I can’t reveal yet, and our normal routine on top of all this, things have been crazy busy here lately!  My time is pretty limited today, and getting a video recorded, edited, rendered, and hosted will not fit in the schedule, sorry!

So all of this aside, we’re getting packed for the Chicago Pen Show today!  We’ll be leaving tomorrow, returning around the 8th.  If I’m slow with emails, you’ll know why.

We’ll be bringing somewhere in the range of 250 pens with us, including around 40-45 pneumatics!

We look forward to seeing you in the Windy City!

Hi Pen Fans!

We’re back from LA and quite exhausted!  We’ll take today and probably tomorrow off, but I will do my best to catch up on some emails today.

In the meantime, I will share some of my photos from the show.  Unfortuntately, we were packed so full of pens, that we didn’t have any room in our luggage for my good camera!  So here’s some iPhone photos….and also not very many!  The LA Show was so busy this year that I really didn’t have much time to get my usual number or photos.
