Hi Pen Fans.

The results of the materials poll yielded Briar Swirl as the clear ebonite winner, so Briar Swirl will be the ebonite material for the 2013 LE Morgan.

However, the acrylic choice is not clear.  The poll required that people vote for both materials, which led to inaccurate acrylic results.  Besides, right now, there’s a dead tie.

So we are going to do a quick poll just for the acrylics.  This poll will close on Thursday, 9:00 am EST.

Then we’ll go to a purchasing period, then start manufacturing.

Hi Pen Fans!

Well, it’s time for the 2013 Edison Limited Edition Group Buy Pen!  This year, we will be offering a Morgan in ebonite and also acrylic.

For those of you who regret not participating in last year’s 2012 Pearl LE Group Buy, please remember that we only offer one Group Buy Pen each year direct from Edison, so this will be your only chance to get a Signature Line Pen direct (valued at $250 retail) at a significant discount until 2014.  Exact price is yet to be determined, but anticipate between $175 and $195.

I’ll include photos of some of the offerings, but the entire process will be handled over at the Fountain Pen Network.  You can see all details over there.

Hi Pen Fans!

In the past, I’ve never been shy about my praise for the Fountain Pen Geeks.

They’ve been around a relatively short time period, but in that time period, they have become (in my opinion) the best Fountain Pen Blog out there.  Awesome Reviews, Inkcyclopedia, Podcasts, Fountain Pen TV, and Pen Show Coverage only scratches the surface of the features and content over there. 

If you don’t already, I recommend adding them to your blog reader, iTunes podcasts, or simply bookmark them (and I usually don’t go out of my way to promote any pen blogs).

So when the "Geeks" asked me to donate a pen for their February Giveaway, I was more than happy to oblige!
